All About RV's
"Today we are reviewing the IRVWP. It is a way to add smart features to your RV water pump. It also makes your RV water pump much more quiet and stops the surging and makes the flow of water much more smooth. It also has features to turn your pump off if there is a water leak and even turn your pump off if it is running dry so it doesn't over heat."

"The IRVWPC is a device you can add to your RV's water pump to enable smoother water delivery, more even water pressure, and some intelligent safety features. I install it and take it on a month-long test trip in this video. Another cool safety feature of the IRVWPC is that your pump’s “regular” pressure switch is still in the mix! Why is this important? Because if the IRVWPC were to completely fail for some reason, you’d still be able to use the water system just as you use it today."

"Today I tackle the long-awaited task of quieting my RV water pump. Despite moving its location and isolating the pump and water lines it was still way too loud for our liking! As a last resort, I installed the IRVWPC2 which is an Intelligent RV Water Pump Controller. This smart device detects the pressure needed for a given flow rate and electrically alters the power to the pump which greatly lowers the noise!! My overall noise level was reduced by over 23 dB which was less than a quarter of the original audible noise! When my pump runs now, I do not even hear it! Success!!"

"I installed the IRVWPC intelligent water pump controller yesterday. It comes programmed for an on demand water heater and so I needed to reprogram the unit to its tank water pump setting. The maker has videos on how to do this, but I picked the one which assumed you did the change after a complete install. Given the tight space, I elected to power up the unit on my workbench and could not get it into programming mode. I emailed the maker and received a telephone call shortly after (on a Saturday!) to point me to the video for power connection only programming (it’s the one called IRVWPC Program Mode Shortcut)."

"Terry at IRVWPC is a great guy and, as noted, very helpful. The installation is very easy (plus there are many videos to help) and once you have it installed you will be pleasantly surprised how well it works. If you need any help just ask as there are many who have installed this controller."

"Overall, I’m very pleased with the IRVWPC controller. I will have to make a programming change since the unit is preprogrammed for on-demand style water heaters, and our Alde is a tank style. There is even a video for that reprogramming and looks very straightforward. Highly recommend!"

"After I read your post I ordered one and it was delivered a few days later. It was simple to install and works as promised. We had 2 taps on our coach that pulsed at any water output level. That's no longer the case, and the pump is quieter than before. The safety settings for run dry are appreciated too.
OEM's should make this a standard item."

"The IRVWPC2 water pump controller really does work very well. Once installed, my pump is quieter on low flow settings and the water comes out in a nice, even flow, just like at home. The device is manufactured in Canada so it's a good fit for an Escape. They claim the IRVWPC2 will extend pump life and reduces electrical consumption. Not sure if that's true but since we mostly boondock, this device will help reduce water use, at least for us. As you can see on the right side of the photo, the new version of this device is smaller, about 3.25" square and black, not clear. The website has good installation and troubleshooting videos."

"Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Terry at IRVWPC for his help with an error I had made in installing the IRVWPC. For those who don't know, this is a unit which modulates the RV water pump so that it becomes a variable speed unit rather simply on/off. This reduces noise and vibration and makes water flow much smoother. There are other safety features which are explained on their website as well. Watching James on the FitRV Youtube channel will give one excellent insight into what this product does. I cannot recommend this unit highly enough. It is easy to instal, there is great customer service and it is very well made. Full disclosure: I paid full price for the unit and have not received any compensation for recommending this product."

"Ever since buying my Parkliner trailer (and my previous travel trailer) I have been unhappy with how loud the water pump is and how it pulses on/off. I happened to be watching a Youtube video of some upgrades that someone else made to their trailer and one of them was to install the IRVWPC Intelligent RV Water Pump Controller. I have to say, it's lived up to the hype. The pump is now very quiet. It's silent when the faucet is partially open, to around 70% flow and nearly silent when a faucet is all the way open. I made a before and after video of the pump running with a faucet fully open.

"After seeing numerous recommendations for this controller, I installed the IRVWPC (Intelligent RV Water Pump Controller) today. This thing is fantastic. It regulates the voltage to the pump which prevents hammering and offers supreme improvements in noise on lower flow. I did a couple before/after decibel tests as well, it offered a drop of approximately 10dB (and no hammering if you use the toilet at night!) I highly recommend if you're dry camping a lot: https://www.irvwpc.com/"
